CalmNight is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

CalmNight collects minimal data to provide its core functionality:

• Location data — Used only to calculate your local sunrise time. Your location is never stored or shared.
• Device settings — Alarm and sleep preferences are stored locally on your device only.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal identification information.
• We do not track your usage or behavior.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

Audio Content

Sound files are streamed from secure Firebase Storage servers and cached locally on your device for offline use. These files are not linked to your identity in any way.

Permissions

• Location — Requested only when you select the sunrise wake-up mode. Used once to calculate sunrise and then discarded.
• Microphone — Required by iOS audio frameworks. CalmNight does not use the microphone.
• Notifications — Used to deliver your scheduled wake-up alarm.

Children's Privacy

CalmNight does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
